Introducing Taxually e-invoicing: one API for every tax authority

Submit invoices in 39 countries through one connection, direct to authorities like Poland's KSeF and Italy's SDI, with VAT specialists behind every filing. Join us live on 29 October to see it clear a real invoice, and how groups get every entity ready for Germany's 1 January 2027 deadline and the mandates that follow.

Each of these was the right call locally. Together, they break in January.

When we map e-invoicing for a global group, we find the same five weak points. Here is each one, and how Taxually e-invoicing solves it. In the live demo, you'll see each fix working.

  1. A new project for every country

A different format, submission route and deadline in each market, each on its own roadmap, and each competing for the same ERP team.

How Taxually solves itOne API and one common data model cover 39 countries. You send the invoice once; we generate each country's format. No six-month implementation project.

  2. A Peppol provider that can't reach KSeF

Clearance countries like Poland need a different connection, so groups end up with a patchwork of vendors, contracts and error formats.

How Taxually solves itDirect connections to 14 tax authorities, including KSeF, SDI, ANAF and myDATA, plus our own certified Peppol Access Point. One provider for both models.

  3. Rejected invoices your customers can't pay

In a clearance country, a rejected invoice was never legally issued. Cash stops, and the problem often surfaces in an audit rather than a dashboard.

How Taxually solves itEvery invoice comes back ACCEPTED with the authority's reference or REJECTED with the exact error code. Our VAT specialists help resolve rejections, so cash keeps moving.

  4. VAT returns re-keyed from invoice data

Tax authorities now see your invoices in real time. If your return is built separately, you have two versions of the truth and a reconciliation every period.

How Taxually solves itCleared invoice data flows straight into the VAT returns Taxually prepares with CrossTax, so invoices and returns match by design.

  5. Deadlines that keep moving

Spain has just announced another VeriFactu postponement, to October 2028, and Poland plans to extend its penalty relief. Building for today's rules alone means rebuilding next year.

How Taxually solves itWe track every mandate and format change and update the connection for you, so you're ready before each go-live, not racing it.

Every mandate. One connection.

Most e-invoicing APIs return a status code and leave rejections to your engineers. Taxually generates the right format for each country, submits it to the tax authority or over Peppol, and tells you the moment an invoice is accepted or rejected. VAT specialists stand behind every integration.

How it works

  1. Send invoice data once

One payload in our common data model, from SAP or any ERP. Same call for every country.

  2. We generate and submit

The destination country's format is created and sent to the authority or over Peppol, automatically.

  3. One clear status back

Normalised for every country, by webhook or polling.

    • ACCEPTED with authority reference
    • PENDING while the authority processes
    • REJECTED with the exact error code

See this live on 29 October: one invoice cleared in KSeF and delivered over Peppol.

Why waiting until January is the risk

Poland, Belgium and Croatia are already live. Germany's issuing mandate is next, on 1 January, straight after most year-end change freezes. France and Spain follow, and their dates keep moving. A multinational feels each one across several entities at once.

    • Poland: KSeF has been mandatory since February 2026 for large businesses and since April for most others.
  1. Germany's issuing deadline
    • Germany: issuing e-invoices becomes mandatory above €800,000 prior-year turnover.
    • Poland: micro-entrepreneurs join KSeF. The Ministry of Finance has proposed extending penalty relief to the end of 2027.
    • France: SMEs and micro businesses must start issuing.
    • Spain: the Ministry of Finance announced on 5 October that VeriFactu moves to October 2028, aligned with B2B e-invoicing for smaller businesses. Not yet approved.

What you'll see on 29 October

A product session built around a live demo, with a short briefing on the deadlines. Bring your entity list.

  • Taxually e-invoicing, live: one invoice cleared in Poland's KSeF and delivered over Peppol through the same API.
  • Rejections handled properly: the exact error code coming back, and how our VAT specialists help resolve it.
  • Invoice to VAT return: cleared data flowing straight into the returns Taxually prepares.
  • Your path to go-live: what the integration looks like from SAP or your ERP, and which entities to connect first for 1 January.
  • A personalised walkthrough afterwards, if you'd like one, mapped to your countries and ERP.

Questions tax leaders ask us

If one of these sounds like your team, this session is for you.

"2027 still feels far away."

Germany's issuing mandate starts on 1 January, straight after the year-end freeze, and Poland's KSeF already applies to most businesses. In practice, the time to decide is this quarter.

"Each country team handles this locally."

That's often the risk. Local teams make sound local choices, but group tax carries the exposure without the view. We'll show how local teams keep their process while tax sets one standard.

"We already have a Peppol provider."

Peppol covers some countries well, but it doesn't reach clearance platforms like Poland's KSeF or Italy's SDI. Taxually is a certified Peppol Access Point and connects directly to those authorities, so one provider covers both.

"This sounds like a big IT project."

It doesn't have to be. Any ERP or billing system that can make an API call sends one common payload, and that single integration covers 39 countries. There's no six-month implementation project.

"Some of our entities aren't established there."

Then that domestic mandate may not apply to them. We'll explain how to confirm scope entity by entity.
